Discover your talents at the EUREGIO Girls' Day 2025 at Gemini Salzburg!

On April 3, 2025, the time has come again – the EUREGIO Girls' Day opens its doors at Gemini Salzburg for all girls between the ages of 10 and 18! Girls' Day is a fantastic opportunity to delve into various career fields that are often still occupied by few women. With us, you have the chance to discover your talents in five exciting workshops: metalworking, media workshop, carpentry, laser & 3D printing lab, and coding.

How does the day work?

On this special day, you'll have the opportunity to visit each workshop and gain in-depth insights into the various activities. You won't just observe, but also actively participate! Whether you're trying out equipment in the metalworking shop, implementing creative projects in the media workshop, or exploring the fascinating world of 3D printing – each workshop offers exciting challenges and creative opportunities. In our coding workshops, you'll learn how the digital future is being shaped!

Daily routine:

• 9:00 - 9:30 a.m.: Arrival and Welcome – We'll start with a brief introduction to Gemini Salzburg and an overview of the day. You'll get to know the team and learn what to expect.

• 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.: Workshop tour and first practical exercises – you'll embark on a journey of discovery! In groups, you'll visit the workshops one after the other, gain exciting insights, and try out various activities.

• 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.: Practical tasks and participation – Now it's getting concrete! You can get hands-on, be creative, and discover what excites you most.

• 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.: Lunch break – Time for discussion and questions. Our staff will be available for discussions, and you can learn more about the working environment at Gemini Salzburg.

• 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.: In-depth insights and final feedback – You choose an area in which you would like to delve deeper and have the opportunity to share your impressions and questions.

• 3:00 PM: Farewell and Outlook – At the end of the day, there will be a brief recap of the experiences. Each participant will receive a certificate, and you can look back on an unforgettable day full of new impressions!

Registering for Girls' Day 2025 is easy! Visit the official EUREGIO Girls' Day website and select the area that interests you. You can sign up for a workshop and secure a spot. Spaces are limited, so don't wait too long! After registering, you'll receive a confirmation email. Your school will be notified of your absence, and you'll receive all the important information for the day.

Who can participate?

Girls' Day is aimed at all girls between the ages of 10 and 18 from Salzburg and the surrounding districts. We are especially happy to invite girls with special needs or chronic illnesses. If needed, we will provide support so you can spend the day actively and independently. Of course, girls with a refugee or migration background, as well as transgender, intersex, and non-binary people, are also warmly welcome!
