Benefits of the course
After completing the course, participants will be able to independently plan and execute the entire 3D printing process – from digital model preparation to printer operation and post-processing. They will acquire in-depth knowledge in the safe use of various printing technologies and learn how to profitably use 3D printing in their everyday work.
Course description
The "3D Printing for Beginners" course offers a practical introduction to the world of additive manufacturing. Participants begin with an overview of the history and significance of 3D printing in modern industry. Various processes—filament printing, powder printing, and liquid printing—are then introduced and tested on-site.
A special focus is placed on occupational safety, the digital preparation of models, and the initiation process of creating your first print. In small groups, students will implement their own projects – from the initial idea to the finished object.

• Preparation of digital models with CAD & slicing software
• Operation & commissioning of filament, powder & liquid printers
• Safety measures when working with 3D printing systems
