Short description

In this workshop, young people delve into the world of electronics and microcontroller programming. With the Arduino at its core, participants develop their own projects and experience firsthand how sensors, LEDs, buttons, and other devices communicate with each other.

Whether it's intelligent lighting control, motion sensors, or minigames, the focus is on independent experimentation, programming, and tinkering. Ideal for anyone who wants to put creative ideas into practice!

Contents of the workshop

The participants

  • learn the basics of Arduino programming (e.g. with Scratch or C)
  • use sensors and actuators in practice
  • develop your own small Arduino projects (e.g. flashing lights, reaction games, temperature displays)
  • experience the connection between hardware and software
  • test, optimize and improve their prototypes
  • receive inspiration from AI-supported tools to support programming

Teaching future skills

Creative & logical thinking
Problem solving & troubleshooting
Digital & technical skills
Teamwork & project work

Innovation aspect

This workshop combines theory and practice – through their own prototypes with real benefits. The young people learn how to solve technical challenges creatively and use modern technologies like Arduino and coding tools to implement real-life ideas. Along the way, they develop an understanding of design thinking and agile methods.

Conclusion

A workshop with a future: The Arduino programming workshop teaches technical skills, self-confidence, and creative problem-solving skills. Ideal for anyone who wants to not just participate in a digital world, but help shape it.
