What to expect? At the interactive "Cybersecurity & Data Protection" hackathon, you'll immerse yourself in the world of IT and OT security. Through exciting scenarios and exercises, you'll learn how to secure digital work environments, identify threats, and navigate the internet confidently – both in professional and personal contexts.

Course content:

• Basics of Cybersecurity & Threat Analysis
• Building secure systems & networks: Handling passwords, two-factor authentication & Wi-Fi security
• Detect and defend against phishing: Email fakes, social engineering and preventive behavior
• Introduction to data protection laws: GDPR & practical implementation in companies
• Scenarios & Challenges: Realistic practice cases for applying what has been learned

Special focus: In small groups, challenges are solved, weak points are identified and protective measures are developed – in a playful, practical way and with a lasting learning effect.
