What awaits you?

This course offers a practical introduction to the world of woodworking . Together, we'll explore different types of wood and learn about their properties and applications. Step by step, you'll learn the basic processing techniques and gain the necessary confidence in handling tools and machines. We use professional tools from Festool, Felder, and Makita.

Course content:

• Introduction to different types of wood and their uses
• Basic woodworking techniques: sawing, planing, filing, sanding, milling, circular saw, band saw, belt sander, wood lathe
• Hand tools with router, sander, lamello router, jigsaw, circular saw and cordless screwdriver
• Correct measuring and marking of pieces of wood
• Processing steps for precise and clean workpieces
• Use and safety when working with hand and power tools
• Tips for surface treatment & care of wood
• Corner joints such as Lamello or dovetails and mitres
