Benefits of the course

After the course, participants will be able to develop creative app ideas and turn them into functional prototypes using block-based programming or no-code tools. They will also acquire social skills, learn New Work methods, and present their projects in the form of a mini-pitch video – practical, future-oriented, and team-building.

Course description

The Apprentice Hackathon is an innovative format for promoting digital and creative skills. In small groups or individually, participants develop their own app concepts and implement them using simple, visual programming environments, while simultaneously practicing their presentation and teamwork skills. The focus is on playful access to digital tools and experiencing innovation processes.

Course content

• Introduction to block-based programming & no-code platforms
• Development and implementation of creative app ideas
• Creation of a mini-pitch video to present the project
• Promotion of social skills & introduction to New Work methods
• Project work & optional submission via the apprentice hackathon platform
