Contents of the workshop

The course offers a solid introduction to the world of metalworking – practical, understandable and with plenty of room to try things out .

The participants

• learn about the most important types of metals and their properties
• find out which tools and machines are suitable for which materials
• practice measuring, marking & cutting
• process metal with:
  ✔ File, bench grinder & polishing machine
  ✔ Lathe, milling machine & drilling machine
  ✔ Flex & welding machine
• test different surface treatments such as anodizing or grinding
• produce their own small workpieces and refine them
