Duration: 3 hours (optionally 1.5 hours possible)
Target group: Students aged 8 to 14 years
Maximum group size: 1 mentor = max. 12 participants
Required equipment: soldering iron sets, 2 multimeters, breadboards, table mats, flipchart
Materials required: Flashlight kits, LEDs, switches, resistors, battery cases, cables, glue, teaching boards, batteries
Format: School workshop, holiday program
Costs: € 420,- including materials and a mentor
Optional For larger groups of more than 10 participants, a second mentor can be booked for an additional charge of € 65,-/hour.
Short description
In this workshop , children and young people will build their own working flashlight – step by step and with a real sense of technology! While assembling the kit, they'll learn the basics of electronics and how electrical circuits work. The highlight: They'll get to work with a soldering iron, connect components, and finally, light up their own flashlight!
